The Communications & Events committee focuses on recruiting, educating, and promoting SGA and general Northeastern University community engagement through the use of social and written media and facilitating fun and engaging events for the undergraduate population.

Recruiting new members of SGA through events & social media
Creating a newsletter for the whole undergraduate student body to stay updated on our initiatives & legislation
Hosting fun & engaging school spirit events like hockey tailgates & the Beanpot Watch Party
Using Instagram & Tiktok to educate the student body about our work, members, events, initiatives, and accomplishments
Past Accomplishments
Hosting the 100-year celebration of SGA in Spring 2024 & engaging with SGA alumni
Launching the new Campus Affairs Instagram account to better inform the student body on the Campus Affairs Division Initiatives
Hosting multiple large school spirit events per year, including a Beanpot Watch Party attended by hundreds of students
Reaching 3K followers on our Instagram page
