Elections Board

The Elections Board oversees the annual Student Body Election that determines the following year’s Student Body President and Executive Vice President in addition to surveying the student body on issues using Referenda questions. The board ensures that all parts of the Presidential Elections Manual are equitable and followed during the election so that the student body’s wants and opinions are accurately reflected in the outcome of the election. In addition to running the student body elections, the board promotes civic engagement in SGA and the student body by putting on events related to local, state and/or National Elections, promoting voter registration, and staying engaged with the political organizations on campus.
