Divisions
The Student Government Association is a collection of divisions, each of which has a specific aspect of student life that their work specializes in. Office of the President
Oversees the rest of the divisions at a high level as well as interfaces with administrators.
SENATE
Legislative branch of the Association, charged with expressing the will of the general student body.
ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
Serves as a link between students, faculty, and administration regarding all academic matters.
CAMPUS AFFAIRS
Dedicated to creating a more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable campus for all.
Student Success
Works to improve the life of all students. It deals with dining, housing, medical and mental health services, and more.
Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion
Responsible for creating an overall safer space for Northeastern through DEI related initiatives.
External Affairs
Deals with external outreach including communications & events, as well as intracollegiate affairs.
Student Involvement
Serves as the official liaison to student organizations and works with the Center for Student Involvement.
Operational Affairs
Most internal division, tasked with keeping internal records, managing senate, and organizing information.
Finance Board
Responsible for allocating the Student Activity Fee to student organizations for specific events and annual budgets.
Elections Board
Handles the policies, procedures, and communications in student body-wide elections while also promoting civic engagement.
Operational Appeals Board
Serves as the judicial branch, charged with hearing student appeals regarding alleged violations or concerns.
