Create Constitution
Review Template: Access the Template Constitution from the shared folder provided by the Student Organization Approvals Board (SOAB).
Draft Constitution: Complete the draft of your organization's constitution with the help of your Board Liaison who is assigned to you for the entirety of the recognition process, following the template guidelines.
Notify Liaison: Once the draft is complete, email your Board Liaison to inform them that the draft is ready for review.
Receive Feedback: Your liaison will provide feedback through comments and suggestions in the Google Doc.
Review Feedback: Go through the comments and suggestions provided by your Board Liaison on your draft constitution.
Revise Draft: Make necessary edits based on the feedback received. This may require multiple rounds of revisions.
Resolve Comments: Ensure all comments and suggestions are addressed and resolved.
Submission: After your Board Liaison believes that your constitution is sufficient, SOAB will recommend it to the Student Organization Governance (SOG) Board. You will then upload your constitution to Paragon.
Approval: If your submission is approved, your constitution is finished and any future changes must be resubmitted as constitutional revisions to Paragon.
Denial: If your submission is denied, you will work with your Board Liaison to bring your constitution into satisfactory compliance which will then be re-recommended to SOG. From there, it will be reviewed again and the process will repeat until your constitution is approved.
